Android FortiClient error

Hello

I am using FortiClient VPN on Android Motorola phone.

FortiClient version: 7.4.2.0179

Phone: Motorola Moto g Power 5G

Android Version: 15

I get the following error when trying to connect

"FAILURE! Sorry, could not start connection "xxx". Error: Revoked by Android: REBOOT

The wierd thing is I can connect to FortiClient when I am on Wifi but I cannot connect using mobile data.

Hello,

I found this solution. Can you tell me if it helps, please?

It seems like you're encountering an issue with FortiClient VPN on your Android device when using mobile data. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check Mobile Data Settings:
    - Ensure that mobile data is enabled on your device.
    - Verify that there are no restrictions or data limits set that might be affecting the VPN connection.

  2. Network Configuration:
    - Check if there are any specific APN settings required by your mobile carrier that might affect VPN connections.
    - Ensure that your mobile network allows VPN traffic.

  3. App Permissions: Go to your device's settings and ensure that FortiClient has the necessary permissions to access mobile data.

  4. Reinstall FortiClient:
    - Uninstall the current version of FortiClient.
    - Reinstall the latest version from the Google Play Store.

  5. Check for System Updates: Ensure that your Android OS is up to date, as updates can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

  6. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Fortinet support for further assistance.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to investigate further with Fortinet support or your mobile carrier.
