Which FortiOS?

Deploying FortiWiFi 60D to new customer. Which FortiOS version would you deploy this with, latest version of 5.2, 5.4, or 5.6? Customer requirements are fairly simple, Windows and Mac computers, SSLVPN, port forwarding.

hi,

in my experience v5.2.11 is rock solid. If you're not in to any of the fancy new features like better device recognition, new GUI layout etc. but prefer zero maintenance then this version is for you.

Next up would be v5.4.5. Biggest plus IMHO is the detailed FortiView, drilldown to single sessions if necessary. Fairly stable on a range of FGTs from small to midsize, but uses more resources than v5.2.

v5.6 is for the brave :) promising but not yet fit for production.
