Mark a Best Answer

This week we’re looking at ‘best answers’ on Community. 

When you ask a question there are often (and hopefully!) various replies.  

Here’s what happens when you mark a ‘best answer’

 - Everyone benefits from being able to see the solution to the problem. We can quickly see the solution rather than having to sift through lots of responses, and everyone saves time 

 - The person who provided the best answer gets recognition, and builds credibility within Community 

 - It’s easier to find in search results. Search engines can easily determine which response solved the problem.  

Strengthening our Community 

Every marked solution adds to our collective knowledge. Over time, these solved discussions become a trusted repository of information that can be referenced by thousands of users. 

Instead of the same questions being asked and answered repeatedly, community members can build on existing knowledge, allowing conversations to focus on new challenges and emerging topics. 

So, how do you do it? 

One click and done – pick the ‘best answer’ button, and the answer will turn green, flagging to future users that it’s been selected.
