Hi all, i'm trying to add a vlan on WAN1 as ISP works on this VLAN and the session is PPPoE.

I'm running on 5.4.1, bunt i get this error : Input value is invalid. Here is the config :

Interface name : pppoe

Type : VLAN

Interface : WAN1

VLAN ID : 10

Role : LAN

ADdressing Mode : PPPOE

What is wrong with my config?

Thank you in advance,

Regards,

Ok, it is a weird problem. The interface name can not start with 'ppp', so just rename the interface and all is OK

Yes,  fortiOS doesn't not allow you to copy set common names for 802.1q tags

    e.g

    port1

    wan1

    wan2

    Even if you tried

pppoe1 or pppoe2 it would have failed but 1pppoe would not for examples

    :)
