Virtual IP stops respoding

Hi everyone,

We are facing an issue with virtual IP, it works normally, but all at a sudden stops responding to any request, there are no indications of high CPU or memory usage, neither sessions.

One solution we have with this is, manually change the IP address of VIP to some random IP and vice versa.

Any permanent solution will be highly appreciated

Which FortiOS version?

Did you try to enable arp-reply for the VIP?

config firewall vip
  edit <name>
    set arp-reply enable
  next
end
