Storage networking

I have two Fortigate 48 port switches. I have 2 arrays plugged into them. I have the management network as 10.0.0.x and the ISCSI traffic as 192.168.100.x . When I plug my laptop into the switching I can ping the management network. I cannot ping the 192.168.100.x ports. I can ping a 192.168.100.13 address somewhere else on my network but not the specific ports for storage on those switches. Help lol
