Javascript error occurred in the main process

Upon opening Forticlient VPN a bunch of users seem to get this error, the only work around so far was uninstalling and re-installing. However noticing that this problem comes back again after a while. System is Windows 11 25h2 with latest updates. Visual C++ latest redistributables installed.

hi,

based on other posts that reported the same issue/behaviour, this was caused by visual c++ version installed.

Hi funkylicious, thanks for this. Yes, I have tried this method installing the latest vc redist. However I never uninstall the older versions 2013.. Some applications use them so assuming still having these older ones may be causing it to crash again perhaps.
