This article describes how to fix the A JavaScript Error Occurred in the Main Process' after installing the FortiClient software in Windows.
FortiClient Software installed in a Windows Machine
1) Uninstall the Forticlent Software using the FortiClient remover tool:
Follow the above article to Remove the FortiClient Software from the Windows End-point. Reboot the Windows Machine after the Uninstallation process is completed.
2) Install the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable:

It is possible to download the files from the above link.
3) Uninstall any old C++ Redistributable found in Control Panel (eg: 2008, 2013):
Follow the article above to remove those old C++ services. Once removed, restart the windows machine.
4) Reinstall the Intended FortiClient Version and run the application as an administrator.
