certificate validity issue

hi all,

 

My current environment do block social networking on specific vlan, but allow few user proceed to block website for business purpose. So i setup authenticate in web filter for few user.

In standard procedure, when user key in the website, it will show page"

FortiGuard Intrusion Prevention - Access Blocked"

and user can click proceed to key in their username and password .

But now chrome showing this issue after they click proceed.

Subject: *.instagram.com

Issuer: FG200FT922920297

Expires on: 22 Apr 2023

Current date: 5 May 2023

 

not sure how but the validity date is expired that's why it cause the warning .

How to renew the validity date ?

 

i am using 200-F, version 7.2.4Build1396

@MengK20988 : Issue seems to be because of the certificate which Fortigate presenting is expired. 

 

You can regenerate a new self signed certificate if it is self signed or if it issued by your organization CA, please get the new certificate with new validity. 

 

You can do this by below

>> Check the Certificate Binded in Firewall Policy.

>> Go under certificates and see the expires on time. Once confirmed get a new certificate.
