IPS engine last version ?

What is last version of IPS engine ? my ver. is IPS Engine 1.00164 (Updated 2010-05-11 via Manual Update

Hi, Depends on what firmware you have, i think 1.00169 is the latest, but only with MR2

hi, my Firmware Version v4.0,build0279,100519 (MR2 Patch 1) If new ver. is 1.00169 why I didnt get it with updates, I tried " execute update-ips" but nothing. Dont tell me that I need to open ticket to get new update ?!?

i think ( i may be wrong ), the 1.00169 comes with Patch 2 for MR2

only way i iknow is to open a ticket, but they might tell you to upgrade

Hello, try to manually update the ips signatures, the package contains the latest ips engine. Sincerely harald

I tryed update manualy but nothing, how do you do manulay updates ? I did with " execute update-ips" and in GUI " Update now" but nothing

Hello kloby, download the update package from the fortinet web site, then upload it to your fortigate. Sincerely Harald

Just to inform that only way to upgrade IPS engine is with upgrading MR2 patch. now its working. thnx all
