VS HTTP host format

Hi FG admins

In Virtual Server configuration with LB method set to HTTP Host, when configuring real servers, does the "HTTP host" field support regular expression or at least wildcard like *.subdomain.domain.com?

Hello @AEK ,

 

Unfortunately no.  FortiGate doesn't support wildcard domains in the HTTP host setting. 

 

I tried it in my lab, I have a domain named abc.com and I configured it accordingly.

I can access the web site without any problem.

But when I change my VIP configuration with *.abc.com, the service doesn't work.
