Vm hyper-v to vmware convert

Hello there, fortimail and fortianalyzer use as vm. (hyper-v) We are transforming our virtualization environment. (hyper-v to vmware) I do the conversion with vmware converter tool. How to convert fortimail and fortianalyzer? thanks.

    You might be able to convert the disks this way, never tried but this is not the supported method of migrating.  The supported way would be to make a clean install using the HyperV VMWare OVF image and then backup and restore config/data etc into the VMWare VM.

     

    If you have A-P HA you could do the following:

  • Remove HyperV Slave
  • Create VMWare slave and join to cluster and wait for sync to complete.
  • Promote to master and remove HyperV Master
  • Create VMWare Slave and join to cluster[/ul]
