hi . i have a fortigate 100e . i have a problem i add a vlan in port 2 and make a policy for that and when i connet port 2 direct to a laptop i can not get ping or see my laptop in fortigate and when i set that config direct in port 2 without vlan i can see laptop or ping that. 

whats problem ?? i dont know !!!!!

Hello,

a VLAN of a Fortigate means that you will received 802.1q tagged traffic. If you are directly conneting a PC on the port2, then you should implement 802.1q on your PC.
