Hi,

What is the use case scenario  of  usb-auto install ,

When should I enable the below 

 

On system restart, automatically update FortiGate configuration file if default filename is available on the USB disk. Default configuration file name:

 

On system restart, automatically update FortiGate firmware if default image name is available on the USB disk. Default image name:

    It's useful for recovering from a failed firmware update, especially if the update makes it impossible to connect to the FortiGate in the usual ways.

     

    I usually change the default config and firmware filenames as a partial security measure.  Keeping the FortiGate in a physically secure location is more important.
