Hi @Katyy0912 - You need to check the crash logs and system events to confirm this. It's better to file a ticket and let our TAC confirm this.

If it is a false positive then I guess it should not happen again.

In case it happens again and you can't open a ticket then better to reinstall the firmware (TFTP).

As mentioned in the article, you need to open a ticket with Fortinet TAC in order to verify whether it is a false positive or not.

I’ve seen it happen after a messy firmware upgrade or when the internal flash starts acting up. Before you go through the hassle of a full RMA, try running diagnose debug config-error-log read to see if it's just a specific configuration conflict causing the flag.

Also, if you want to be 100% sure the firmware image you downloaded isn't corrupted, you can run it through a file integrity checker to verify the hash against what’s on the Fortinet Support Portal. If the hash matches but the error persists, it’s almost certainly a hardware issue with the flash drive.
