Simulate a specific SNMP Trap

This topic covers the diag command to send a test trap:

Is there a way to send a specific trap for example: fnTrapMemThreshold

It would be extremely useful to ensure the NMS systems are handling the alerts correctly before we actually hit the problems.

Perhaps you can test the trap by setting the default % lower than 80%.

Good idea, thanks. That will help with threshold type traps :) There are a number of others that don't have a threshold for example:

fgTrapAvVirus fgTrapAvOversize fgTrapAvPattern fgTrapAvFragmented fgTrapAvEnterConserve fgTrapAvBypass fgTrapAvOversizePass fgTrapAvOversizeBlock
