So one of my FGT800 rebooted over the weekend with no user intervension. I called it in and they gave me a new CLI command to try. diag debug crash read It spews a ton of stuff. However one thing I do see is a segmentation fault in the ipsengine (/data/bin/ipsengine). Has anyone else run this command or has experience with their FortiGate rebooting? SpyderGeer

Hi Spydergeer, You see, we are using IDS and Antivirus options very much. With 359 build we have troubles - users sessions is some random times are disconecting - in command promt tracert and ping is working fine, but naturaly internet and mail isn' t working. Only restart (some time log off and log in) helps. I think that the pronblem is too much users with sessions.

MR9 (Build 393) - It rebooted again. Bad FGT800 bad! This was another FGT800 so I don' t think this problem is hardware specific. Still segment faulting like no tomorrow. No power blibs or anything that could explain this. Has anyone experienced anything like this or am I just lucky? SpyderGeer
