Question

Radius Timeout

If i look from authentication log one host have some authentication request and if we see from below pic there are 4 authentication request.

Three of that is failed and one is success. Failed authentication due to timeout and this timeout mean the network devices can’t connect to the fortinac?

Can you check if all 4 requested have actually reached FNAC?
You can check with tcpdump and BTW you can check if there are related RADIUS responses (that are probably not reaching the client).

hi @AEK

Yes i believe the request is reach to the NAC because one of 4 request is replying by ‘success’ and gap time betwwen success and timeout only in seconds

Better use tcpdump on FNAC side to make sure what’s happening. Possible some packets are not arriving, and possible they are reaching FNAC and FNAC doesn’t respond to them.

hi @AEK

I think it’s hard to execute the tcpdump since I don’t know when the issue will occured.
