Proxy vs Flow based AV

Hi, 

Besides performance impact using proxy-based AV are there any compelling reasons to use proxy based AV. Since FG supports flow based AV as well for all the same protocols supported by proxy based AV. which mode is the ideal mode to be deployed for our customers.
