problem with scanner

dears

 

i have problem with forticlient ,

after installed forticlient , i can not scan by hp printer 1536 dnf

if shutdown forticlient the scan is working

can you solved this problem .

    Hi

    sry for late post. But i had the same problem now.

     

    I have solved by add the IP of the printer in the web securty-> exception

     

    URL: <ip of printer>

    Type: wildcard

    Acrion: allow

    So you are trying to scan from the printer TO your computer and FortiClient is blocking it? If so, you will need an exception to allow that traffic to traverse properly.
