OSPF Loopback interface

Hello all

is it possible to only use loopback interface as only ospf interface ? ( not the actual physical interfaces)

    No that would not make sense and would gain you nothing. OSPF is neighborships as in it needs to find neighbors. A loop interface would not have a neighbor

    AS Ken said it would be useless - even the loopback would need to be reachable via some physical/tunnel interface/next hop, it cannot exist in  a vacuum.
