What default bandwidth reference for OSPF in fortigate?

Hello HS08,

 

I believe you are looking for the default value for ospf cost bandwidth reference in FortiOS?

There is a setting under "config router ospf" >> "set auto-cost-ref-bandwidth".

The default value set is 1000, in megabits per second.

Ok so default reference in fortiOS is 1Gbps. If i have topology below where the fortigate connected to cisco router. Default OSPF reference bandwidth in cisco is 100Mbps, so we have 2 different reference bandwidth here.

With this scenario what cost from R1 to Fortigate? Which reference bandwidth will be used?
