Hello, I apologize in advance if this sounds like a stupid question. I passed the NSE4 Certification Exam on June 18, 2024. I very recently heard that my certification would run out of validity if it’s 2 years old. I have to take the NSE5 Certification Exam, as I was unable to take it before, but I am unsure if my NSE4 Certification is still valid. Please let me know and thanks for your help!

Hi Stephane,

Oh you can pass the NS5 even if the NSE4 is not valid anymore. NSE5 is another exam and does not need the NSE4 :).

There is no stupid questions :)!

Indeed the NSE4 is valid for 2 years.

You can renew your NSE 4 certification by taking a different exam or a later version of the same exam that you initially passed. This must be done within six (6) months prior to the expiration of your current certification.

Hello! Thanks for the very quick reply! Given that i took the exam on June 18, 2024, it probably means I’d have to take a new NSE4 exam BEFORE taking NSE5 Certification Exam right? I just want to make sure I understood. Thank you!
