Mirror SSL

Hello Is ssl mirroring ( mirror decrypted ssl traffic to span port in forti ) affect memory usage ? If yes : is the high usage from policy or traffic mirrored ? I mean if i make a new span port the memory usage will increase again ? Or it has a specific processor unit that will handle this ?
