Managed Mode

I'm looking at putting my FortiSwitches (124D's and 124E's) in Managed Mode, so that I can create a VLAN. I’m currently on FortiOS 6.0.11 on my FortiGate 101E. It looks like to do this I can either manually configure a port as an interface for a Hardware Switch, or if I upgrade to 6.2 I can set this up through FortiLink. Do you have any thoughts or recommendations on which option is bertter?

    Sorry, have only used the FortiLink. Maybe someone has more experience than I do.

    Thanks. I ended up upgrading my FortiGate to 6.2. Now my next thing is to figure out how to get multiple Fortiswitches tied together that are managed by one FortiGate.
