Mac WebFilter Browser Extensions?

We are testing FortiClient WebFilters and we are trying to test incognito mode extensions. It works on Windows browsers, but not macOS. Windows users get a pop-up asking to approve the new extension. (see example).

None of my browsers have any FC extensions. Does this work on macOS?

Bonus question: Can this pop-up be suppressed?
