IPV4 Vs Explicit Proxy

I am new to Fortigate and want to configure Fortigate 400d as web proxy to replace MS TMG 2010.

Please guide whether use IPV4 or Explicit proxy in order to create rule with respect to active directory group and client IP address.

And mention both pros and cons.
