IPV4 Dos Policy

Hi there

just created a IPv4 Dos Policy and wondering how I know if it is working or not and how do check the logs? I'm running a Fortigate 300D.

The best way , in order to monitor what is going on in general ,

a. purchase a Fortianalyzer,

b. setup a syslog server

c. or if you just wish to see the operation setup an email account to receive alarms

Maybe you can run a portscan and then check the Anomaly Log on your FGT.
