When using forti OS version 7.4 the ssl vpn was retired and replaced by ipsec vpn and my android is able to connect to the ipsec vpn.

Can we make the andoid forti client to be always auto connect and always up so when i lost mobile internet connection and the connection back the vpn will be connected automatically?

Hi ,

Can you please check this document for IPSEC's auto-connect compatibility?

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticlient/7.4.3/administration-guide/437773/save-password-auto-connect-and-always-up

There is no option for auto connect and always on using forticlient in android. What vpn client application can be used for replacing the forticlient on android?

To enable auto-connect or always-on VPN functionality with FortiClient, you must use FortiEMS. Ensure you are using FortiClient for Android version 7.4 or later, and activate both the "Always Up" and "Auto Connect" options.
