HA between different models

Hi,

I have Fortigate-224B, and I am planning to purchase the new Fortigate-94D or 100D.

So Can I make the HA between these to models.

Do I need the OS to be the same version, and also the number of post etc. to match the same for my HA to work?

Hello

you need to have the same model, same firmware and same license.

But you can do VRRP to have the redundancy.

Agreed everything needs to be the same.if you want a later model, try to engage your FTNT sales team for a trade-up or customer loyalty discount. This allow you to move from a older platform to a newer C or D model to take advanatge of the latest 5.2.x offerings.
