hi all

while configuring a new vlan interface i got this error.

right-hand side of 'in' should be an object got undefined

devices behind this vlan couldn't get ip from FG dhcp.

i couldn't find anything online regarding this kind of error with fortigate.

did any one encounter with this kind of error?

im using FG100E (in my lab) ver 6.0.5.

pretty simple network with only one switch.

appreciate any inputs

thanks

    Welcome to the forums.

    Some things to check for:

Did you try Wireshark to see if there are any errors?

Is the entire path between the end device and the FGT configured correctly (trunks defined and access ports all OK)?

Is the DHCP server properly configured on the correct VLAN?

If you give the device a static IP on that segment, do things route successfully? If so, the problem can be traced down to the DHCP side, not the network configuration.

    Hope that helps.
