Fortiswitch Stack

There is no such thing as a Fortiswitch stack. The only solution is called MCLAG which tells two physical switches to pretend to be one "virtual" switch. The main purpose is to allow downstream devices to connect to both MCLAG-switches with active-active portchannels without creating a network loop.

it said we can stack the switch, 

FortiSwitch stacking allows up to four switches to operate as if they were one switch. 

i think its different with MCLAG, since we can use 2 until 4 switch as one switch

for further information: stacking is a new feature within 7.6x FortiSwitchOS but only available for specific models, 624F/648F (fpoe and non-poe), like rizaganda92's ones.

Stacking and MCLAG are exclusive in the same setup; you have to choose.
Stacking is only supported in standalone switches .

If I were in your place, I'll check stacking documentation for  features/limitations.
As you mentioned advanced routing licences and another needs,  maybe MCLAG could be a more flexible option.

Thanks for the advise, yes actually I have go through the documentation however i think not much information given on the documentation, it mention L2 suppport, there are no L3 (routing, etc) ini supported features or limitation. 

I think i will go for MCLAG for now.
