I set up a page with models specs from get hardware stat and plan on keeping it up to date as new models become available  https://yurisk.info/2021/03/14/Fortigate-Firewalls-Hardware-CPU-model-and-number-Memory-size-datasheet-table/

Note: when listing Intel CPUs, the number of CPUs actually means number of Threads, not Cores.

For 200A, it is a standard DDR-400 512MB desktop memory, insert onto a desktop memory slot. So I upgrade my 200A with a spare 1GB memory, it works. For 100A, the memory module is exactly same as 200A, so I insert the memory pull out from 200A, into a 100A box. Since there are two H/W version for 100A, the newer one (which the internal LAN ports are configurable) can detect the additional memory (ie from 256MB to 512MB), but my another 100A with old H/W version, the system still reported there are only 256MB memory, although I have inserted a 512MB memory module onto the board.
