Fortinet client install failure

Having problems trying to install the Fortinet client, using Windows 7 64-bit and Internet Explorer 8. Most grateful for help from anyone who has successfully installed with that set-up. Each time I try, I get (after a long delay) an error message: " Failed to install Fortinet SSL VPN client adapter driver" . Between tries I stop and delete the FortiSslvpnDaemon service (which is running, despite the rror message) Also remove all files matching " forti*.*" . I' m connected via satellite broadband - is this likely to be a factor?

it looks like fortinet virtual adapter installation problem. try to 1 remove the Fortinet virtual adapter from Device Manager->Network adapter 2 reinstall the FCT.
