FortiManager Version & Sizing

Hello -

Looking for FortiManager version recommendations for a new install.  Was looking to start with 7.0.4 or 7.2.0.  Currently have FGT running 6.4.9.

The licensing we would get has a 2GB/day 200GB capacity.  Are these hard limits?  We are looking to use the FortiAnalyzer feature with about 20 devices.  Does the following sound about right for an ESX VM?

vcpu: 4

mem: 8GB

disk: 250GB

Thanks

Hello dfish85,

I have found this documentation:

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortimanager/7.2.0/best-practices/14860/fortimanager-performance-and-sizing-in-closed-networks

Could you please tell me if it helps?

Thank you for the information.  I was actually looking for more clarification regarding the 2nd disk size on an ESX VM.  The FMG-VM-10-UG states it has a 200GB capacity limit.  So should the disk be right at 200GB or slightly higher 250GB?  If I make it 500GB will 300GB be unusable?  Thanks
