Hello @Minagreas ,

This is so interesting, actually. If possible, can you redeploy the FortiGate image to hyper-v or can you try a factory reset?

Hello @Minagreas ,

This is normal behaviour for the first login. Normally, after redirecting to this link, you should resume with the setup wizard. After completing the wizard, you can access the normal dashboard.

If you can't see anything on the page, you can try with another browser or an incognito window.

If it still didn't work, after login, you can try to delete this part "/prompt/fortigate-setup?viewOnly=1" from the URL.

Hi, same problem here, just deployed a 7.6.5 KVM image and it's stuck on the /prompt/fortigate-setup?viewOnly=1 part

the same behavior on VMware

It should be the main version without bugs, but I feel like I'm testing a beta version!

I was having the same problem with spinning up a fresh 7.6.5 KVM image in Proxmox-ve.
Firefox and Edge, no difference, page just would not load and stuck on the https://FortiGate IP /prompt/fortigate-setup?viewOnly=1 with no wizard, just white, even full page refresh does noting.

I managed to get in by changing from http to https (I also defined the /login but do not think that had any relevance), at that point I was able to add the license and after reboot did not happen again.

Guys, I managed to solve this problem in the following way:

I executed the following commands in the CLI:

exec vm-license-options account-id (Your Account ID)
exec vm-license-options account-password (Your Account Password)
exec vm-license

After running these commands, the FortiGate activated the trial license, rebooted, and I was able to log in to the web interface.
