Hi Glen

The hardware is supported until 2027, so in case something goes wrong with the hardware it can be replaced until 2027. The firmware is out of support and out of engineering already. So no more updates will be done on 6.2.x.
If you want to mare sure software is updated as well you will need to replace FGT50E for another model.

Hi DPadula,
It means the EOS of harwdare is only for replacement, if there's something wrong with the hardware?
So i should upgrade the hardware to get security updates in the future?

Correct, just for hardware replacement. There is nothing wrong with the hardware at all, it was just replaced by a better model. If possible you should upgrade the hardware so you can use the latest version of our FortiOS.
