Question

Error when accessing training.fortinet.com - Code FTIx0002

Hello.
My account was created upon request to FortiCloud technical support. I log into my account via email, go to the support[.]fortinet[.]com menu, and when I go to Support > Training > www[.]fortinet[.]com/training-certification
When I select NSE Certification Levels > Learn More > Get Started
I get an error " Sorry this user not authorised to access this portal... Code: FTIx0002". I found that this can be solved by creating another account. I created an account not from my corporate email, and everything works and goes through.
Please advise how to solve the problem with corporate email.

Thank you in advance!

Hello again gertyl,

I found this solution. Can you tell us if it helps, please?

To resolve the FTIx0002 error when accessing the Fortinet Training Institute portal with your corporate email, follow these steps:

Possible Causes

  1. Incomplete Support Portal Profile: Ensure that your Support Portal profile is fully completed.

  2. Master FortiCloud Account Requirement: You must have a Master FortiCloud account. IAM or Sub User accounts are not supported for accessing training accounts.

Solution Steps

  1. Verify FortiCloud Account Type: Ensure that your corporate email is associated with a Master FortiCloud account. If it is not, you will need to create one.

  2. Complete Support Portal Profile: Log in to your FortiCloud account and ensure that all required fields in your Support Portal profile are completed.

  3. Use the Correct Email: Make sure you are using the same email address for your FortiCloud account that you want to associate with your Fortinet Training Institute profile, certifications, and badges.

  4. Create a New FortiCloud Account (if necessary): If your current account setup does not meet the requirements, consider creating a new FortiCloud account using your corporate email. Follow the instructions in the FortiCloud documentation: Creating a FortiCloud account.

Additional Considerations

  • Partner Program: If you are part of the Engage partner program, ensure that your account reflects your employer’s partner status.

  • Avoid Personal Emails: Do not use personal email addresses or aliases for corporate-related training access.

Follow-Up

If you have followed these steps and are still encountering issues, consider reaching out to Fortinet Customer Support for further assistance. They can provide more specific guidance based on your account details and setup.

Hello gertyl,

I found this answer:

Yes, for what I see, this is the 3 fields you need to fill in.
