Question

EMS server through Proxy server

Does anyone know how to configure EMS server to browse and access Fortiguard services via proxy?

The server needs to browse through a proxy server, we configured for Windows Server 2019 to browse through it and it works fine, but we can't connect to FortiCloud server from EMS and download FortiClient Installer.

Through the browser we open the Fortinet pages, but not from the EMS Server (as shown in the images).

    Hi all, for your information, Forticlient EMS server doesnt support a proxy for download signature AV/ binary...
    Only 2 ways :

    -directly from internet (fortiguard)

    -from fortimanager

    @tbtl92
    According to FortiEMS Docs, there is not possible to use proxy to access FortiGuard Services
    System requirements | FortiClient 7.2.1 | Fortinet Document Library
    In this case you can use FortiManager for updates.

    It doesn’t support a proxy. You’ll need to expose it to the internet (port 8013) for remote management anyway
