Question

Delete AP failed

I am having trouble deleting an Access Point on the FortiWLC 8.4-3build-4 | FortiWLC-500D

The error message reads as follows:

ERROR: Ap is being used by a Service Connect's Location Profile.

Any tips would be great.

Hi Lindemann83,

Can you let me know if these steps help?:

1. Check Service Profiles:
- Navigate to the configuration section where service profiles are managed.
- Identify the location profile that is using the AP.
2. Remove AP from Profile:
- Edit the location profile and remove the association with the AP you wish to delete.
- Save the changes to the profile.
3. Delete the Access Point:
- Once the AP is no longer associated with any profiles, attempt to delete the AP again from the Access Points section.
4. Confirm Deletion:
- A confirmation dialog should appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the selected item. Confirm the deletion by clicking "OK".
