CPU load with IPS activated

Hello,

I need to activate the IPS (default profile) on our 900D and I want to know if the CPU will be affected. I read that the 900D has a Content Processor that helps with the IPS but it is not clear for me :(

Can anyone help me understanding how IPS feature is processed and how it affects the box?
