I have a FortiWiFi-60AM and I am unable to talk to it through the console port. The cable that came with it is missing. Does anyone have the pin out for the console cable? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

it' s a standard console cable, you can use any console cable from any switch. Otherwise google on cisco console cable layout. Cheers, Eric

Eric and Bob, Thank you for your replies. That was the first cable I tried. I have since tried other RS232 cables. Perhaps I have a bad unit.

Test the cable on another unit to validate the cable is bad. I had a rash of supposed bad cables that did not work on some units until I revert to PUTTY. Double check all of our async settings and disable flow-control and see if that changes anything

Did you check that you have disabled hardware handshacking and also Xon/Xoff must be off.
