cannot receive activation code via SMS

I bought 10 Foritoken licenses then assigned to 10 users. I set all user received the activation code via SMS. Only 8 Users got it. for the remain 2 users, i changed to other phone number that had received before, still couldn't get any SMS. Is there any limitation of sending code via SMS?

    It depends on what SMS Gateway do you use. If default FortiGuard, then you would need SMS license, which is basically pre-paid credit for SMS messaging through FortiGuard. You can set and use alternative SMS Gateway (on FortiOS that one is email-2-SMS type of GW only, FortiAuthenticator handle also other types). Another alternative is switch to email as delivery method.

     

    In case of FortiGuard is used, then check .. exec fortiguard-message info .. and pay attention to 'SMS max allowed:" which should be non zero if you want to be able to pass SMS through FortiGuard.
