HI,

Can the Auto-Script backup be configured to use the LAN IP as the source IP? If so, could you provide guidance on how to accomplish this?

Thank you @funkylicious

Our network is configured with MPLS connectivity, linking multiple locations to the SFTP server. During a traffic analysis, we observed that the source IP address being used is the WAN IP. But, we need to modify the configuration so that the source IP is set as the LAN IP instead.

you may need to initiate the backup from the remote side in order to use a specific IP.

there are a few backup tools open source available on the internet, like oxidized or netshot to name a few that I used and gets the job done or even via FortiManager.
