The above commands disable any changes in the contention window parameters (parameters cwmin, cwmax that you see in the QOS layer of Wireshark decode) that the radio would otherwise make per the known aggregate station count on the current channel (i.e. not just the stations getting service from this radio, but the total station count across all radios on this channel).
