Is it necessary to stop N+1 while upgrading the controller?

Solution
Yes, you will not be able to upgrade the slave controller if it is in a Passive Slave mode.  The steps are as follows:

1. Stop N+1 on the slave unit

2. Stop N+1 on the Master unit

3. Upgrade the slave unit

4. Upgrade the Master unit

5. Enable N+1 on the Master unit

6. Enable N+1 on the Slave unit
