Solution
At times while upgrading the controller from one version to the other version, we will be getting an error message “Image not found” while the image will be still in the flash memory. This may be because the transferred file may not get unzipped properly, or somewhere the file gets corrupted. We need to delete the image file in the flash and then copy the upgrade image back to the controller again.

Solution

For example,
MC3200(15)# show flash
5.3-50
5.3-115
MC3200(15)# upgrade controller 5.3-115
This will overwrite all existing system images. Are you sure [y|n]? y
Error: Image '5.3-115' not found.
MC3200(15)# delete flash: 5.3-115
