Changing the admin password on the controller

Solution
Commands to change the controller password for the user "admin"

CLI CONFIGURATION STEPS:

Step 1 : Type "configure terminal"

Step 2 : Type "passwd admin"

Step 3 : At the prompt, enter the new password for admin. At the next prompt, retype this password for it to be confirmed and stored for future logins.

Step 4 : Type "exit" to return to the privileged exec mode.

TEST RESULTS: After entering the password the first time, if the next line reads "BAD PASSWORD: it is too short..", this does not mean it has rejected the password, it is merely a caution message. Proceed to confirm this password by re-entering it.
