Technical Tip: Null error when registering from Hosts view
| Description | This article describes issues with registration when the Unregistered Hosts Days Valid field is blank in the global Aging Settings.
Symptoms:
To view Aging Settings: Version 8.x: System -> Settings -> User/Host Management -> Aging. Version 9.x: Users & Hosts -> Settings -> Aging.

| Solution | Workaround:
1) Configure a Days Valid value.
Example:
2) Select 'Save Settings' to apply.
Hosts can now be registered. If using Device Profiling rules, delete affected rogue records and run L2 poll to quickly rediscover devices.
