Technical Tip: Apply Operating System (OS) updates
Description
This article describes that it is highly recommended that users check for and apply Operating System updates when available.
Check for OS Updates
- In the Administration UI, navigate to System -> Settings -> Operating System Updates.
- Select Check for Updates.

Note: The application of updates requires a reboot of the appliance(s). During the reboot, the following functions are paused:
- Switching VLANs.
- Serving Captive Portal pages.
- Responding to RADIUS requests.
